Working for a Construction Manager Company, The Kagan Company developed a Design-Build central warehouse for The University of Connecticut, Storrs Campus. The facility is 84,000 square feet accommodating administrative offices, storage, and facility spaces. Working with the Construction Manager I oversaw the design, drawing development, and construction of the project. Coordinating with the various engineers, the University and the Construction Manager offered a variety of challenges to coordinate the various needs and budgetary requirements of the project. Trying to create a facility that was functional and offered a design that was unique with daylighting for a warehouse facility within the tight budget.
